Sony Xperia GX and Sony Xperia SX: More information with running Snapdragon S4
About a week ago Sony announced two new models in Japan: Sony Xperia GX and Sony Xperia SX. The former seems to be the device “LT29i Hayabusa” as the earlier rumors of.
Sony Xperia GX is equipped with a 4.6-inch display with HD resolution, LTE modem (4G) and an impressive 13MP camera. We were also told that the processor was a dual core with 1.5 GHz clock speed, but exactly what platform it was on was not clear.
It could have been a Qualcomm MSM8260, which sits in the Sony Xperia S, which was common in the top of the range a year ago. Now, it has been confirmed that the Sony Xperia GX has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 under the hood, that is, a faster and more modern than the MSM8260 platform. Even the smaller Sony Xperia SX has Snapdragon S4.

Just a few days ago we showed you some leaked shots of a new HTC smartphone, HTC originally known as the HTC Golf, then supposed to be HTC Wildfire C, and instead will be marketed under the name HTC Desire C (changed every name possible!), As confirmed by some images for printing, involuntary courtesy of Vodafone Portugal.
As you can see below, the specifications of this smartphone HTC Desire C are hardly stellar:
* Display 3.5″ 320 x 480
* 600 MHz CPU
* 5 megapixel camera
* Internal memory of 4 GB
* Battery 1,230 mAh and price of less than 200 € (not confirmed by the images)
Nothing short of astonishing, were it not for the combination of Ice Cream Sandwich with a CPU clock rate so low. Expect the first models, however, before you declare victory, both in terms of performance that the final price for this HTC Desire C.
